The transducer and waveguides are reusable, being cleaned and autoclaved between uses. With different numbers of uses, both are monitored either by the user or electronically by the generator. They are then returned to the supplier and replacements despatched.

Single use jaw actuators are supplied sterile in packs of 10 cartons.
